Custom Architectural Glass Installations >> Wall Street Park, New York Installation
The glass blocks were specifically developed and created for the Lower Manhattan redevelopment project in New York City. They are located on Wall Street as a part of the Memorial Park. The blocks serve as park benches as well as provide lighting as each block is lit with 1000 LED lights. We chose to make the blocks out of borosilicate glass due to its lower co-efficient of expansion which allows the glass to withstand the extreme elements of both heat and freezing temperatures.
